The unfolding crisis in Gaza is just one of many emergencies affecting children around the world. Children in Ukraine, Yemen and Sudan are facing another year filled with war, terror and trauma, whilst families in Somalia, Libya, and Ethiopia continue to struggle amidst conflict and climate induced natural disasters.

With thanks to the support of our donors, UNICEF has vaccinated 26.8 million children against measles, supplied 23.2 million people with safe drinking water and saved 17 million children from severe acute malnutrition in 2023.
