Description
Children in Sudan are being kept warm thanks to blankets provided by UNICEF’s kind supporters.
Dalia, 10, and her siblings (pictured above) are among those receiving the life-saving supplies. Dalia fled Khartoum, Sudan, due to war and has been displaced twice. Her makeshift shelter has open windows, making the nights unbearably cold. UNICEF has provided blankets and mattresses to over 700 families in Al-Salaam, offering vital warmth.
“The nights are bitterly cold,” Dalia said. “We desperately needed these blankets; we were covering ourselves with an old bedsheet.”
Your support brings comfort and hope to children like Dalia during these difficult times.
