Myanmar earthquake:
children’s lives
are at risk
Injured children in Myanmar
urgently need your help.
Myanmar earthquake emergency appeal
On the 28th March, as children were sleeping in their beds in Myanmar, their homes collapsed around them. Over 2,700 people have died and those who managed to escape with their lives – including children pulled from the rubble – have been left injured, hungry and thirsty.
Essential infrastructure like water and sanitation have been destroyed. Health centres and hospitals are overwhelmed with casualties. People whose homes have been reduced to rubble are now living in tents and makeshift shelters.
It is right now that children are at their most vulnerable, with many separated from their parents, unsure if they are still alive.
UNICEF is on the ground providing medical supplies, emergency food and clean water. But we urgently need your help.
