Child Rights Champions
Children in Ireland are taking action to address racism and discrimination in their communities. From speaking out against hateful language and behaviour to advocating for more inclusive policies and practices, young people are leading the charge for change. Through initiatives such as anti-racism workshops and campaigns, youth-led events and dialogues, and educational outreach programs, children are promoting tolerance, respect, and understanding among their peers and in society as a whole. UNICEF recognizes the vital role of children’s activism in tackling racism and discrimination and is committed to supporting and empowering young people to become agents of change in building a more inclusive and equitable society.
