WATCH: Ivine (14) fled Syria, with her cherished pillow

UNICEF’s Unfairy Tales cartoons tell the stories of three children who travelled thousands of milesto find peace, and a new start.

Ivine and the Pillow animates the true story of 14-year-old Ivine and her pillow,  called Pillow.

After a perilous escape from Syria, Ivine settles at a refugee camp in Germany where she faces new challenges.

At least 65 million children and young people globally are on the move – running from conflict, poverty and extreme weather.

UNICEF, the global children’s organisation, is telling the stories of refugee and migrant children.

Every child has rights and deserves a fair chance.

Watch the other stories in our Unfairy Tales series, Malak and the boat and Mustafa goes for a walk.

Some stories were never meant for children.
