Conflict and Natural Disaster Survival Pack

In times of crisis, children are first to suffer, and suffer most.  

Countless children and families around the world are bearing the brunt of conflict and natural disasters. This year, children in Gaza, Lebanon and Bangladesh have all experienced traumatic events and been uprooted from their homes.  

UNICEF’s Conflict and Natural Disaster Survival Pack contains everything a child needs to keep them healthy and safe from disease.  

This pack will provide: 

• 2 warm blankets to provide comfort and protection from the cold 
• 2 first aid kits to address immediate medical needs 
• 20 packs of high-calorie peanut paste, delivering essential nutrition to combat malnutrition 
• 100 water purification tablets (enough to purify approximately 500 liters of water), ensuring access to safe drinking water 
• 40 sachets of oral rehydration salts to prevent dehydration and support recovery 
• 10 doses of measles vaccine to protect against this preventable disease. 
• 20 doses of polio vaccine to safeguard against polio infection.
